Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week)
Pay: $26
Type: Temporary (Full-time)

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable pro who can hit the ground running and keep things moving? Our client in Tysons Corner is looking for a Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role requires 4 days in-office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Vendor management: onboarding, communication, and issue resolution
  • Payment processing including check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Process payroll garnishments in coordination with HR/payroll
  • Manage W-9s and 1099s for compliance and year-end reporting
  • Assist with financial reporting during month-end close

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of AP best practices and internal controls
  • Experience with high-volume payment cycles and multi-vendor environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Tier 2 or similar)
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
